About Me
Stephanie Tucker, MA, MBA, MAC, MLC
My journey into the helping field was propelled into fast forward in 2004 when my father died unexpectedly. He succumbed to a lifelong battle with addiction. As I was going through his things, in the days after he passed away, I learned more about his life of struggle, trauma, substance use, homelessness, mental health challenges, and also of his quest for help. I found phone numbers and notebooks full of evidence of him trying to get help that he couldn’t access.
His death profoundly changed my life. I wanted to approach life differently. I decided to give back in a personal way; and I chose to enter the counseling field to help others.
I have been on that important mission ever since. I had to figure out how to integrate all the aspects of my life. Business, helper and someone who is also personally healing, learning and evolving. I am a spiritual empathic person. I need to approach my work from an authentic place.
I believe that we must address the mind, body, spirit connection to accomplish our goals and work through life challenges. Mind, Body, Spirit means that our well-being comes from not just physical health, but from mental health and spiritual health as well. I believe that we must pay attention to all three aspects of health and wellness to live our best lives. I draw from my education, certifications, training, employment history, life experiences, energy work, and intuition to collaborate with my clients to help them reach their goals. I believe in the power of therapy, the power of our brain and body to heal and the power of human connection. I believe in change. I believe that sharing our experiences helps us heal, work toward connection and release things that hold us back in life.
I help clients explore their needs and overcome barriers that limit their full potential. I help my clients live their best lives by working toward balance in their mind, body, spirit connection.
